Really bad customer service! I went into the Didcot store to buy a cooker and a microwave, was told to press the button when I wanted help, did so no-one answered but could hear the currys team downstairs talking and laughing, we waited after pressing the button a couple more times to eventually give up only to go down the stairs to find the stairs had been closed off at 16:45 on a Monday. I said to the guy that I think the buzzer was not working and we was looking to buy a.s he just said ok thanks bye!!! I will now go somewhere else for the products I need asap.

Appalling customer service – managers, take note I visited Curry’s PC World yesterday intending to purchase a tablet. The store wasn’t even busy, yet several members of staff blatantly ignored me. I was stood in the tablets section for a considerable amount of time, clearly looking for advice, but not one member of staff approached me. The two ladies at the front by the checkouts even turned their backs on me after making direct eye contact — an astonishing display of rudeness. This is basic customer service 101: acknowledge your customers. Instead, I was made to feel like an inconvenience. If this is how paying customers are treated, it’s no wonder sales are lost. I walked in ready to buy; I walked out determined never to spend a penny here again. Manager — I strongly suggest you address your team’s attitude and training before you lose even more business.

Really poor service, task was just to get a new SIM card, the entire team was newly trained but still had no idea how to do the process. They made us wait half an hour before someone was free despite plenty of staff standing available, and then there were so many technical issues with the computer and still no idea how to do the SIM setup on it - they eventually told us to go to another branch where ‘they would know what they were doing’. Other customers next to us also ending up leaving due to problems solving their queries.

Had issues with a faulty laptop. The staff were absolutely brilliant, patient and understanding. Stephanie explained our options including repair, but was able to exchange it. Tom went through the current laptops available and was able to recommend one that met our needs. Thanks to these two lovely people, we got a new laptop, headphones and a refund for the balance. Very happy.

Cannot call them to ask if they have a product on the shelf available to try (a certain type of headphone...) so... I just won't bother going to the store. John Lewis let me call the store and an assistant told me they have the ones I want to try on display for customers to test out. 20 miles extra but customer service matters.
